About The Tau League of Friends
Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
The above prayer is a personal invitation from St. Francis to the hearts of all mankind. It is a cry from the very heart of God to modern man to make a difference where God's love is being abused or denied the marginalised in our society.
The vision given by St Francis to Brother Sean and Sister Theresa back in July 2006 to 'restore all God's family to come together in love and there celebrate as one loving family. Again, in April 2008 when St. Francis inspired Brother Sean kneeling at his tomb to establish a lay monastic community of men and women from all faiths to unite as a vibrant spiritual monastic inter religious community inviting those who were available to come in their vulnerability to embrace the lay monastic life without loosing their individuality.
Today, the members of the Tau Community of Interfaith Franciscans though geographically dispersed in different continents, they live out their monastic calling in their own homes-their monasteries without walls.
The longterm vision is to establish an eco sustainable project which will accommodate a monastic community together with men and women who wish to live alongside the community and become self sufficient from utilising their talents and skills as one vibrant, living presence that God is Father Mother God of all.
The Tau League of Friends are now inspired to provide all the practical financial support to see the vision for an eco sustainable monastic Project named, 'The Abbey of Saint Francis of Peace and Compassion.

In the words of the Lord Sananda Jesus to our hearts we take comfort when He tells us,'whatever you do for the least of these my friends, then you do it to me.'
